WE INSPIRE CHURCHES AND INDIVIDUALS THROUGH bridge building EvenTs

Inspiring churches is an essential part of The Banquet’s work. If your church is not currently engaged in disability inclusion we want to help you see God’s heart for embracing, serving, and empowering people and families who experience disability. We also want to help you discover the connections (bridges) between disability and the ministries and passions that your church already has. Disability is a pervasive reality that touches every community and population; seminars are our chance to connect the dots between disability and your mission. No matter who you are, disability is relevant to you.

We equip churches through coaching + 1 day workshops

We don’t want any church to be alone in the process of disability inclusion. We go through a step-by-step process with you to create a contextualized plan for disability-inclusion at your church, or what we like to call an IMP (Individualized Ministry Plan). Sometimes this process happens in group workshops (3-5 churches) or sometimes this happens with 1-on-1 coaching. We do both. And both are free. WE RESOURCE CHURCHES THROUGH SMALL GRANTS

Participants of our coaching or workshops receive a small grant to jumpstart their efforts. You don’t need any money to be a church that includes people with disabilities, but we wan’t to make sure that you have a little money to start dreaming with. Interested in learning about our grants?
