Your Support Matters.

The Banquet Network is convinced that Jesus’ church is enough – God has gifted the church with the necessary, people, skills, and finances to reach, serve, and include people with disabilities. We are a mechanism where churches – and individuals from churches – can cooperate financially in this shared mission. The Banquet Network uses donations to cover operating expenses, host events, and issue grants to churches for specific needs in their disability ministries.

Why give?

Nearly 1 in 5 people live with a disability, and yet, when we look around our churches, we don’t see this population. In fact, it’s estimated that 90% of people with disabilities worldwide will never hear the gospel or be a part of the church.

And yet, Jesus told us explicitly, “When you throw a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame and the blind, and you will be blessed.” The Banquet Network exists to help churches live out this verse.

It’s estimated that only 4% of churches have any sort of disability ministry. It can be intimidating to start a disability ministry – that’s why some churches pay thousands of dollars to consultants to help them.

But at The Banquet Network, we believe that disability inclusion isn’t just something for churches who have the resources to hire a consultant. We believe that no church is too small or too under-resourced to include people with disabilities. That’s why we are committed to providing free coaching to churches who couldn’t get the help they needed otherwise.

When you give to The Banquet Network, you provide free step-by-step coaching to churches who otherwise couldn’t afford it, you remind churches who are committed to becoming accessible that they are not alone, and you remove one more barrier to welcoming people with disabilities into the Banquet of God’s kingdom.

Why is it important for our church to be accessible to people with disabilities?

Creating an inclusive environment for people with disabilities aligns with the Biblical principle of loving and serving all people, regardless of their circumstances.
